Getting to the HRI:

If you are coming directly from the train station, there are a number of routes you can take.

You can get the tram (you want the one going to Middlewood or Malin Bridge, ask either for the University stop or West Street). You can get the tram from the train station, just follow the signs.

Alternatively, you could get the bus (either the 120 going to Fulwood, the 52 going either to Hillsborough or Wisewood, or the 51 going to Lodge Moor), again ask for the University or for the top of West Street. The drivers are usually very helpful, so if you ask them to let you know when you’re on West Street they’ll notify you.

Another option is to get a taxi (City Taxis on 0114 239 3939).

If you are coming from the Travelodge Sheffield Central, there are also a number of routes you can take.

You can get the tram (you want the one going to Middlewood or Malin Bridge, ask either for the University stop or West Street). The nearest stop is the Fitzalan Square/Ponds Forge stop, this is just round the corner from the Travelodge.

You can get this from the stop opposite Sheffield Cathedral, this is about five minutes up the road from the Fitzalan Square tram stop.
